We got tired of skincare that fights your skin

Pore strips that rip. Spot creams that dry out everything around the spot. Fingers that always make it worse. Most quick fixes treat your skin like a problem to attack.

We wanted the opposite: something that works with your skin overnight, while you do nothing. And we wanted to be honest from the start. Most of the little dark dots on your nose are not blackheads, they are sebaceous filaments, oil your skin makes on purpose. Once that clicked, KYLA made sense: gentle patches that lift what sits on the surface, without the tearing or the sting.

Hydrocolloid is not something we invented. It has been used in medical wound care for decades because it creates a sealed, moist environment that draws fluid and debris up and out.

We took that same material, formulated it in Korea to certified skincare standards, and shaped it for the face. It is drug-free, works by absorption instead of harsh acids, and it stays gentle enough for sensitive skin. If you like the receipts: a 2024 paper in the Journal of the American Academy of Dermatology reviewed hydrocolloid patches for facial acne and found them both safe and effective.
